Kouji is the second one who can transform to the mega level digimon. He reminds me on Matt from the first and second season, who is also so cool and calm. His parents have some problems and are divorced and Kouji is by his father and Kouichi by their mother. But the father said to Kouji that his mother is dead, because he married again but Kouji wanted not to forgot his mother - he loved her very much...after he meeted Kouichi in the digiworld he understand that his mother isn't dead and that he has a brother.

Kouji is the twin brother of Kimura Kouichi which apparently i see they haven't got. His parents divorce when they were babies and each took a child with them. Anyway Kouji is more of the sensitive sort he is very moody and very mature. Sometimes this leads him to arguments with Takuya. He is the chosen child of light.
