Koboshi is an average 6th grader that's trying to win Kotarou's heart. But her attempts are in vain, as Kotarou has experienced a lot of tragedy in his life. If he were normal, she'd have probably won him over by now, but he needs to be showered with love; nothing less than an angel. Either way she keeps trying.
Koboshi is polite and won't put up with Hiroshi or Ten-chan's rudeness. She has a really had time grasping that Misha is Kotarou's neighbor, and that Misha is always glomping him. She does her best to protect Kotarou and that's admirable.
She's really short and always wears these weird cat ear things no matter the occasion. But anything for a fashion statement, right?
It is said in either Pita-Ten manga volume 7 or 8 that Koboshi gets a new hairdo, without cat ears.

Koboshi is a tomboyish and energetic girl who seem to be in love with Kotaro. But ever since Misha starts stalking Kotaro, Koboshi has been trying to get Kotaro away from Misha and everytime when Koboshi tries to be alone with Kotaro Misha would pop out of nowhere and get in her way.

She is without any doubt the most cute little anime girl that i've ever seen.Those cat ears like things she has on her head are actually hair ornaments she wears along with her ribbons.(She is NOT a cat.)
CUTE ^-^.Anyway she plays a fairly large role in the series as Kotaros childhood friend and she has a major crush on him, therefore she can't stand when Misha jumps with her outbursts of joy on top of Koutaro.
BTW, she is incredibly strong and when Mitarai calls her a little girl, she usualy sends him off flying with one jab.
