Takahashi Keisuke is 21 years old, and is the second best racer in the Red Suns. Unlike his brother Ryosuke, who utilzes computers and logic to improve his driving, Keisuke drives primarily on instinct. Though he is the first person to lose in Initial D, he shows a great deal of improvement after being trained by his brother, and wishes to become a professional racer. While he continues to seek revenge on Takumi for defeating him, he seeks a friendship with the Eight-Six driver and has developed a great respect for him. Keisuke is also going to be a prominent racer in the Kengai Team, which will travel throughout Japan, breaking prefecture course records. Keisuke drives a Mazda RX-7 like his brother, only his is the 3rd generation, the FD3S Twin Turbo.
